Gretchen Childs
Gretchen Childs has been an educator for over 15 years. She has taught kindergarten and 2nd grade, as well as Special Education in Pre-K, 5th and 6th grades. She has been a District Literacy Coach, District Math Coach, and Reading Specialist. Gretchen has presented numerous workshops on literacy topics, and has traveled the country as a consultant for Debbie Diller & Associates since 2005.

Gretchen earned her degree from Southwest Texas State University, with specializations in both Special Education and Reading. She also carries an Early Childhood Education endorsement.

She resides in Pearland, Texas with her husband, Michael, and their three daughters.

Pam Pierce
Pam Pierce has been an educator for 17 years. Her experience in K-8 includes work as a classroom teacher, district literacy coach, reading specialist, and reading coordinator. Pam has traveled across the country as a consultant for Debbie Diller & Associates since 2006.

Pam earned her bachelor’s degree from Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge and her master’s degree from the University of Houston. She also carries a Reading Specialist certification.

Baton Rouge is Pam's hometown, and she currently resides in Houston, Texas. Pam enjoys traveling, playing tennis, and shopping.

Christe Cantu
Christe Cantu has been an educator since 1998, when she began teaching with Debbie Diller at Hearne Elementary in Alief ISD in the Houston area. Debbie was Christe’s literacy coach and worked with her closely in learning to teach with literacy stations and small group instruction in first grade. From there, Christe taught 2nd grade and tutored students in reading and math in grades 3-4. She became a Math Recovery teacher and provided intervention services in grades 1-3 for students struggling with math. Most recently, Christe worked as a math coach with teachers in grades PreK-4.

Christe’s degree is from Stephen F. Austin State University with specializations and endorsements in Reading, English, ESL, and Early Childhood. She grew up in Grapeland, Texas and currently resides in Spring, Texas with her husband, Michael and her two daughters, Sara and Allie.
